It sure looks like we need to clean house very quickly.

Carson city council acted as if there was no one speaking to them, not one person spoke up in favor of the oil and gas code.  They feel they have a right to destroy our city.

The powers that be here in Carson have put a strangle hold on our Council members.  I’m not sure to what degree each is playing but Carson Companies, Watson Land and Occidental all are playing a part in robbing us of our right to peaceful enjoyment of our lives and homes by forcing oil drilling into our populated community.   Our city was created to stop the consummation that these companies are forcing the residents to live across the street from.

When we bought our homes we bought them knowing our city was created to stop the dumping that the above mentions companies continue to force on our communities.

I smell a very stinky class action law suite

I remember when Lori asked if any council member would support the adding the language to the agenda item, not one council member responded, but I’m wondering if they were allowed to since it was an Oral Communication segment of the council meeting ? I really don’t know, I’m asking. I’m a newbie at all this stuff and trying to get a sense of things. I didn’t speak because I tend to come off like a loose cannon when I’m passionate about something, so I love it when I can actually manage to zip my yap lol. I’ll unzip it at the polls.

I’m going to wait for tonight’s anti-fracking meeting and next week’s Planning Commission meeting, where we may criticize the proposed oil and gas code all we want. That’s what it is right now, a proposal, and we’re all free to criticize it. I think that would be a better course of action than just personally criticizing the council.
