City of Carson in a Fiscal Emergency?
Mayor Jim Dear, Councilmen Elito Santarina and Councilmen Albert Robles vote to declare the City of Carson in a Fiscal Emergency, to spend $95,000.00 of taxpayer’s money and to spend up to $25,000.00 to do a rushed survey poll to place the Utility User Tax on the ballot in the November election. If we are in a fiscal emergency, why are we spending $49,000.00 for a trip to China and giving friends $75,000.00 and $41,000.00?
