Final Dismissal Albert Robles Guilty of Holding Two Incompatible Offices
After more than 8 months of Robles’ legal maneuvering file an appeal, default, motion to have his appeal reinstated Albert Robles failed to file his opening briefs on January 2, 2019 and on January 29, 2019, the court handed down the final dismissal. (Involuntary Dismissal Final January 29, 2019). The judgment stands Albert Robles is GUILTY of holding two incompatible positions. Continue reading
Should Carson go Charter?
On the agenda for this Tuesday’s, August 7, 2018 City Council meeting is whether to put making the City of Carson a charter city on the November 6, 2018 ballot. Albert Robles, Jawane Hilton, and Elito Santarina voted to initiate this action and are expected to be the ones responsible for putting it on our election ballot.

Unanimous vote of Carson City Council to silence the TRUTH
I am sharing this with all of you because it is not just an attack on Carson Connected and me, but because it is Carson Connected today and it could be you and your neighbor tomorrow.
I’ve lived in Carson since 1960, I grew up and went to school in Carson and I love and care about the people and this city. I started Carson Connected to inform Carson residents about issues that affect our lives. But, when our city officials have the arrogancy to attend town hall meetings and hear the over whelming wishes of the residents only to vote against them, to publish an article with a photo that offended a large segment of our residents, to insult people that come up to speak before them. Than to use the city attorney office whose pay comes from our tax dollars to try and intimidate and deprive me of my First Amendment Right the Freedom of Speech and you from the truth is going too far. The People’s Climate March
The People’s Climate March was a great day, with Jane Fonda, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., organizations and it is being reported more than 5,000 people came together to stand up for the health and well being of our community. There was no sign of any Carson official at this event (you will find them in some of the photos below take at events on Saturday). Could it be the donations made to them or their pet projects are keeping them from standing with us? Is it their allegiance to the corporations, which kept them from alerting the public about the plans to build the largest refinery in the Western United States here in Carson?

Not just here, in Carson but around the world, our last email struck a nerve with the question if it is “Just a coincidence that the epidemic of autism hit after the first crops went out to market?”
The City of Carson’s response; promote a debunked movie that claims autism is caused by the MMR vaccine. It’s an outrage for our city to risk the progress made with autism by promoting this smoke screen.
The autism epidemic began approximately two years after the watering of our produce with oil drilling wastewater began. In addition to that, in 2011 when we experienced a surge in oil drilling, we also experienced a surge in autism.
It seems the very suggestion struck a nerve for the City of Carson to allow the promoting this FREE Movie Screening and theory. This movie is a disgrace to the families affected by autism and the work accomplished over two decades.

Carson city council unable to defend their actions decides to playing the game “if we don’t acknowledge them than they don’t exist”. I guess they’re unaware our last email was read around the world. If you missed 60 Minutes regarding oil-drilling earthquakes, you need to look at what the people who hold elected positions in the City of Carson voted to do to not just Carson but to the South Bay. Inaccurate/fraudulent statements made to force extreme oil drilling on the Newport-Inglewood fault
City Attorney Sanaz (Sunny) K. Soltani made the statement that the loophole is not a loophole, it’s a legal standard”. In fact, it is a loophole, which makes the residents responsible for the expected profits of the operator. Appointed Mayor Albert Robles and assistant city attorney Shannon L. Chaffin’s states there will be no drilling operations/production in residential areas. The truth of the matter is they will be drilling directly under our homes. Inaccurate/fraudulent statements also include “we have no water injection for disposal”; California standard is the wastewater is to be injected into the same formation/zone that is producing the oil and water. This activity is exactly what has caused Oklahoma to go from 2 earthquakes a year to 857 magnitudes 3 or greater in 2015. Beverly Hills and Torrance, California both came up with ordinances that allow NO NEW DRILLING at no cost to the city or its residents for this ultimate protection.
Hermosa Beach residents only have to pay E & B Natural Resources their investment to stop oil drilling.
The elected officials here in Carson California have voted to make the residents responsible to pay the oil interests their expected profits, which is more than 4 billion dollars (in North Carson) just to stop fracking. Continue reading

Carson city council votes to welcome oil drilling on the Newport-Inglewood fault into our densely populated South Bay Communities. Among many other things, they voted to allow oilrigs 750ft from our residential communities, oil drilling directly under our homes and schools, and to make the residents responsible to pay more than 4 billion dollars to stop fracking. The City of Carson has illegally fired 6 city managers, illegally appointed 2 council members, defrauded the state to avoid a special election and the majority of the planning commission was appointed months before notice of vacancies went out. These are just a few of the facts that have been proven here in Carson.
Carson city council has decided to hold an illegal public hearing; an appeal has been filed on the decision of the planning commission on oil drilling. They have chosen to ignore the appeal and move forward to hold an illegal city council public hearing without addressing the appeal.
Who in their right mind would build their business based on an ordinance based on these illegal actions? Watson Land, Carson Companies and Occidental Petroleum aka California Resources Corporation aka Socal Holdings LLC that’s who.
County prosecutors are trying to stop Carson’s mayor from also serving on a water board
Los Angeles County prosecutors are attempting to remove Carson Mayor Albert Robles from serving as a director on a regional water board, claiming in a lawsuit that holding both offices at the same time is a conflict of interest and violates California law.
